Katie Siemsen — Founder & Principal Consultant
Katie brings a diverse background across mining, construction, civil, and corporate industries. She began her career in injury management and worker’s compensation, where she saw firsthand the devastating impact of workplace failures.
Over her career, Katie has overseen some of the worst outcomes including amputations, fatalities, and significant mental health injuries and witnessed the ripple effect they have on workers, families, and entire organisations.
These experiences are what drive Katie today. They fuel her determination to be the change and to help businesses put the right systems, culture, and leadership inplace so that tragedies like these are prevented, not managed after the fact.
Her career has since expanded into workplace health & safety, psychosocial hazards, mental health strategy, HR compliance, leadership development, and social media management. This breadth of expertise allows her to bridge compliance with culture and building workplaces that are not just legally compliant, but genuinely safe, supportive, and resilient.
At the core of Katie’s work is a passion for empowering people. Whether it’s guiding an injured worker back to meaningful employment, helping a business simplify compliance, or coaching leaders to drive change, her mission remains clear: to build safer, stronger, more human workplaces.
